About the teacher

I graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Elementary Education. 

I have taught at SMMCS for 6 years.  I have teaching experience in preschool, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grades.

I am married to Dan, who is VP Operational Manager at Kent Feeds. 

We have 4 children, Valarie, 18 (a freshman at ISU), Marci, 16 (a Jr. at MHS),

Mitchell, 11 (a 6th grader at WMS) and Grant, 9 (A 3rd grader at SMMCS)

I enjoy reading, running, music, golf & entertaining friends. 

I am passionate about my faith, family, children and education.

I feel privileged to be teaching at SMMCS, it is a blessing in my life.

I believe that GOD comes first, FAMILY comes second & everything else follows.

I believe in the power of a Coke, a Smile, and a Friend.
